And here are the rest of my pics from that location. There were many cars that I just couldn't get a good picture of, including a 1962 Ford convertible, barely space to walk through. The place also had shelves and shelves of parts... Now here is the kicker, I was told that the whole collection and property had belonged to a doctor, who has since dies. His son owns it now. The whole ball of wax is for sale! The land (I would guess at least 10 acres or more), The out building (very large, I would guess 40 cars inside), the house (it's a nice house with many collectibles inside, including a large collection of die cast cars), and all the cars, inside and out. The price? If I understood correctly, it's $700,000...

Mustang heaven inside...

More pics from inside, like I said very tightly packed, hard to get good pics... The white convertible in the firt pic is a 67-68 Shelby GT convertible! Also in that pic are a red and a white 65-6 fastbacks, and a 69 Mach 1...

Now, inside the building...

The cars inside were much better, but packed very tightly, not much room to get good photos... First we have a 1954 Chevy, then a 1936 Chevy, and then, I believe a Fiat 600?

Now for some non-Mustangs...

Here are some of the non-Mustangs at the smae location... First an early 70s Toyota Crown, maybe 73... A Datsun, not sure of the model... a very rusty 53-4 Chevy... And a very sad Jaguar E-Type 2+2... Next we go inside the building for a look at the better preserved cars...

Some of the newer Mustangs, a 71-2, a couple of Mustang II Cobras, and three nice Fox body convertible GTs (one under cover)... Last photo shows that there were many more that were hard to access, thick under growth, lack of time, and a fear of snakes prevented me from going back in the "outback", LOL

Here are some of the 69-70 Mustangs... note the once white notchback hit hard in the rear... the red fastback with the whole rear panel rusted off and missing... and the last photo, a Mach 1 missing the front clip, in front of it is a gray Volvo with a 327 Chevy V8 in it, and beside it you can see a Jaguar, more of that later....

Here are some of the 67-68 Mustangs... Of note are the two Shelby GT 500s...

Here are some more of the 64-66 Mustangs... Including one that has collapsed one itself.. A convertible with it's own shade tree... A GT fastback on the pavement... and the one with the bowed up hood I was told has a 428 CJ and was used for drag racing, it also has a non-Mustang grill that I can't identify, the grill is wider than the opening.

Car Spotting in Puerto Rico

Ok, SMARTers... I am now ready to get this blog going. At the beginning of November (1-4) I made a trip to Puerto Rice to visit my girlfriend, as a surprise to her, she knows that I don't fly. While I was there, of course, I was spotting cars... I can't help myself, it is an obsession. I found the mother lode of old Mustangs in a field near the Arecibo radio telescope. I am going to be posting some of the pictures in batches, there were well over fifty cars in that field, nearly all Mustangs, plus about forty more cars in the building. The cars outsice were very badly rusted, I guess the salt sea air... I'll start with the earliest Mustangs..

As you can see some of these Mustangs were collapsing on themselves from the rust... Above are some 64-66 models a couple of fastbacks and a couple of notchbacks...
